On Pentecost Sunday a number of our tamariki celebrated their First Communion. This is a special moment in their faith journey and it was a lovely experience to WITNESS the Gift of the Holy Spirit (Te Wairua Tapu) in our parish. Blessings and thanks to everyone who supported these wonderful young parishioners on their journey. There are many people we need to give thanks for:
To our wonderful Ms Brown and Mrs Pedley (and their families).
To Fr Joe for his gift of understanding and wisdom.
To our wonderful cake designers, Jen Illston and Jessica Adams.
To our wonderful people helping before and during the day – your gift of time was truly appreciated.
And to our whanau for your continued love and support.

This week we say farewell to our outgoing Board and thank them for all that they have done for our school. We have two long standing servants on out Board who we truly need to acknowledge:
Thank you to Kathleen Palenski for 15 years loyal service to our school with the last years as our Board Chairperson.
Colette O’Connor – for 12 years service as our school’s staff representative.
The new Board will be announced at the end of the week and we thank them for their commitment to the school.
From the Board:
we are reviewing many things in and around the school to develop a 21st vision for the school.
We are very fortunate that the previous principal, Mrs Cousins and the Board have carefully set aside money for this purpose. With the support of the Diocese we are in the process of planning for the modernisation of our junior classroom block.
Campbell Street Kindergarten has enrolment spaces available for 3 and 4 year olds.
We would love for you to join our warm and welcoming community.
We are open from 8:30 to 2:30 and if you attest your ECE hours you can get up to 30 hours free.
Please come and visit, meet the team, see our amazing environmentally friendly play space and enrol your child now.
