Whanau groups enjoy time together doing different activities.
Cross Country 2019
Junior Liturgy
The New Zealand Playhouse group visited Our Lady of Lourdes kura and performed “The Tortoise and The Hare” for us. We thoroughly enjoyed this performance.
Congratulations to our tamariki who celebrated their First Communion on Pentecost Sunday.
Football Tournament
Our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 football teams competed against other Palmerston North schools in a football tournament at Monrad Park. The Year 3/4 team made it to the final and then succeeded in being placed Runner up!Year 5/6 Football team
Kapa Haka Whanaungatanga
Our performance Kapa haka roopu performed at The Regent along with other Catholic schools in the area.
Inter school Cross Country
Five of OLOL students competed at the Inter School Cross Country at Ashurst Domain. Jarrod, Soloman, Joseph and Jack represented the Year 5 boys and Xavier as the sole representative for the Year 6 boys. All of our tamariki did their personal best. Congratulations to Jarrod who placed 7th for the Year 5 boys. It was very satisfying to see the children giving their best and being happy with their efforts. Thanks also to the parents who came along and gave their support.
