Fri Feb 17 03:44pmThis afternoon we have had an urgent request from St John’s College, Hastings. On Monday 20th the College is being opened as a community centre to provide food and showers to their students, whānau and community. Currently, there is a food shortage and they have reached out for urgent assistance from us. While there are a number of plans in place to provide ongoing support to the wider Hawkes Bay area, we are currently responding to an immediate need from a community we can physically reach.
Te Rau Aroha | The Diocesan Centre 33 Amesbury St, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th from 9am – 3pm will be open as a drop of point. A van and trailer will be taking donated items up to Hastings on Monday 20th February.
Can I please ask that you communicate the following attachment to your school communities today please so we can reach as many people as possible. This is an expression of our faith in action.

Mon Jan 30 07:52amWe look forward to welcoming 15 new children to our school during our first week. We have been busy painting the exterior of our Administration Block and doing quite a few jobs around the school. Just a couple of notices:

Swimming will begin this week – especially with this fine weather.
Please make sure your child has a named drink bottle with this warm weather ahead.
